The 2024 PHS Philly Flower Show, United By Flowers

As a PHS member, I joined about 13,000 fellow flower enthusiasts to preview this year’s flower show, United By Flowers. I saw at least half of the 13,000 as we waited until the doors opened at Noon at the PA Convention Center. The annual show officially begins on Saturday, March 2, and closes on Sunday, March 10, at 5:00 p.m.

Robertson's Florst Vibrant Dinner Table United by Geomteric shapes

The 195th annual Philadelphia Flower Show didn’t disappoint. This year, florists and landscape designers got the memo on the United By Flowers theme. How about Robertson’s Florist of Chestnut Hill’s vibrant colored dinner display, united by flowers with geometric shapes? This is their 45th year participating in the Philly Flower Show.

Black Girl Florists exhibit at the 2024 Philly Flower Show

Congratulations to the Black Girl Florists, a nationwide group with local connections! Why the congratulations? The group is making their second Philly Flower Show appearance this year. Their large display features three different iterations of a community sanctuary specific to African American women, the beauty salon.

Nevertheless, I didn’t forget to mention the exhibit at the main entrance exhibit, the Edges and Reflections creation of the PHS team. All I can say is WOW! It is a fantastic, eye-catching, massive blast of color display with the soothing sounds of water and floral clouds.

United By Flowers, the 2024 Philadelphia Flower Show

Above all, the Philadelphia Flower is the granddaddy of all flower shows dating back to 1829. All gardening or plant lovers will appreciate the diverse horticultural experience offered at this year’s show. Why? Whether planning a new landscape design, summer gardening, or learning about houseplants. You’ll find it at the Philly Flower Show.

My purchases at the 2024 Philly Flower Show: Nightime Jasmine and Schefflera Alpine Houseplants

Incidentally, It’s hard not to shop at Flower Show Marketplace for fresh flowers, house plants, gardening tools, and landscaping choices. To my heart’s delight, I found two plants I’ve not located in Harrisburg: the fragrant blooming Nightime Jasmine and a Schefflera Alpine.
