So, first up, EpicLight co-founders Linda Gallardo and Saima Rathor started their mission to spotlight women over 35 on October 8, 2022.
Some additional background: The EpicLight brand idea started when Pat and Saima met at their children’s preschool 15 years ago in New York City. With backgrounds in the beauty and finance industry, both ladies wanted to try something new.
The two entrepreneurs, Saima, Pakistani, and Patricia, Latina, already know the challenges faced by women with diverse backgrounds. Speaking from personal experience, I know beauty brands don’t always focus on a palette of colors complementary to darker skin tones And the ever-evolving skin needs as women age.
The brand aims to create multi-purpose products for skin tones that prioritize skincare. Mission accomplished with their multi-purpose active skin-loving ingredients and three-in-one products.
EpicLight went from obscurity to high-level exposure less than six months after launch. How? Inside the gift bags for 2023 female Academy Award Oscar nominees. And it’s no surprise that there are so many significant endorsements in beauty publications like Allure and Vogue.
