The signs and signals are there to indicate the impending seasonal change. First, it’s back to school, then the tradition of mums and pumpkins. Finally, the end of Daylight Savings Time for the additional sunlight during the warmer weather because it’s time to fall back.
It’s November, and the forecast in Central Pennsylvania is already calling for the first freezing temperatures.
Falling back means the end of the glorious additional hours of sunlight. Pulling up the tender bulbs after the first frost, winterizing the garden, and no more annual plants.
The striking color changes of the leaves are not the only changes in autumn. As the leaves shed, it’s a perfect opportunity for self-reflection.
Which means it’s nearly time to do a vision board.
What needs to go, and what needs to stay? Did I accomplish my goals for 2021?
For sure, more purging of closets and moving toward intentional living with sustainable purchases.

Don’t forget to turn back your clocks this weekend and enjoy the extra hour of sleep.
As always, thank you for reading.
