It’s a blogger’s delight to receive an email from your favorite affordable brand to select a few items to style. Chico’s Off the Rack offers comfortable yet chic things that don’t break the bank. The reasonably new online website parallels the Chico’s Outlet stores in price and selections.
Whenever I make an online clothing selection, the first consideration is how to dress my pear-shaped silhouette. The classification of pear-shaped, your body’s most important measurement is the hips followed by rib-cage then chest. To be blunt, I have a big bottom, and that’s okay. Not all women can wear skinny jeans of which I never wore.
I chose to wear the Statement Stripes Tassel-Detail Tunic with a V-neck. To keep proportions balanced for the tunic top over the skirt, I tied the tunic to look like a top to help highlight my small waist. I know the Chico’s Off The Rack Elegant Method A-line Skirt is a superb choice because of the flaring away from my hips. How your outfit resonates, is all about balance, proportion, and color/pattern.
According to the significant fashion blog sites, print mixing is overdone, and I say let the pattern party continue. The black and white theme, always an excellent choice, and I decided to mix and match the two different patterns to make a black and white fashion statement: my outfit topper accessory, Mirror Image Textured Earrings which compliment my neckline.
My second outfit of the day, Chico’s Off The Rack outfit. The Tropical Palazzo Pant with a Wrinkled Resistant Lorena Tie-Front White Shirt. I chose the white tie-front blouse because the tie enhances my small waist over the print pants. The Palazzo pant, the wide-leg provides a perfect balance over my bum even with the tropical print. This outfit accessory topper, Sunshine Tonal Metal Linear Earrings.
Both outfits are classic, chic and comfortable. I would wear either of these ensembles on a date night with my hubby, Sunday Brunch, lunch with the girls, even a Broadway play in New York City.
