Hello, Beauties🌸 Today’s post, I’m among A Bevy of Beauties Showcasing Print Mixing.  The group, the Magnificient 8.

Print Mixing and Matching with Talbot's Pink Gingham Jacket mixing with J. Crew Wide-Leg Striped Jumpsuit

The Magnificient 8 is a collaboration among eight stylish women representing every decade of life showcasing style one generational at a time. The mission of this joint effort, to highlight how ageless style can be effortless for winning looks.

You may recall my first participation with this bevy of beauties back in January with Active Wear. The theme this go-round, pastel print mixing.  Last June, mixing and matching, a big trend, I shared my story, Are There Any Rules To Print Mixing?

The Magnificient 8 Showcasing Pastel Print Mixing
I shopped my closet for the Talbot’s pink gingham jacket and the J. Crew blue and white striped wide-leg jumpsuit. The big name fashion blogs say print mixing is an overdone fashion trend. I’m still on that bandwagon. What’s not to like about a classic spring summer print like gingham? Gingham is a warmer weather classic staple with endless possibilities.

My 60s interpretation of pastel print mixing
Location: Fort Hunter Mansion and Park. I shopped my closet for Talbot’s Pink Gingham Jacket and J. Crew Wide-Leg Striped Jumpsuit with Last summer’s Sam Edelman Suede Sandal.

The blue and white striped wide-leg jumpsuit, first of all, the comfort level is off the charts. Probably because of the culotte-style is a comfortable and free-flowing garment. The jumpsuit is the must-have outfit right now especially the utility designs.

Why do I like to participate in a blogger collaboration? Someone else is dictating what you wear while sometimes stepping out of your comfort zone.  With fashion, there are endless possibilities with infinite interpretations.

What say you, are you done with mixing and matching? Have you moved on to the next trend? Do tell in the comments section.

As always, thank you for reading.  Have a great rest of the week.
