When was the last time I thought or heard about Banana Republic?   It was in 2020 when Gap, the parent company, announced the closure of 225 stores, including the Harrisburg store, which may have been the result of the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before 2020,  Banana Republic gave the aesthetic of classic yet elevated vibes, focusing on colors like khaki, black, and cream. I remember when fashion designer Marissa Webb, the BR creative director back in 2014, infused distinctive shades and designs.
