Did anyone notice on Instagram that vests took center stage this fall as a fashion statement? I consider my vest version a remix, and it’s not my grandfather’s vest.
Vests is the agreed-upon theme for the last fashion challenge post for 2021 with the Magnificent Eight blogger group. Me, I conjured childhood visions of my paternal grandfather. I affectionately called “Russ,” smoking his pipe, wearing a buttoned-up sweater vest while puffing and talking to my Dad, Genie Boy.
Did I get the style challenge wrong? Did I not misunderstand the assignment?
What do I like about blogger-style linkups? It’s subject to your interpretation and what works for your brand.
I’m not wearing a vest, but I say it’s a reasonable dupe. It serves the practical purpose of a vest to keep you warm and keep your arms free.
I’m sticking with adopting a sustainable lifestyle. I chose this Good Cashmere Standard® sleeveless tunic because of its responsible sourcing and natural cashmere fabric.
Now that you have seen my vest choice don’t forget to check out all the different generations of beauties sporting their vest vibes on Instagram:
Grace of Graceful Rags represents teenagers.
Mica of Away From the Blue represents the 20-somethings.
Roxanne of Glass of Glam describes the 30-somethings.
Shelbee of Shelbee on the Edge represents the 40-somethings.
Rena of Fine Whatever represents the 50-somethings.
Moi represents the 60-somethings.
Lesley of Jodie’s Touch of Style represents the 70-somethings.
Charlotte of Jodie’s Touch of Style represents the 80-somethings.
We are showing that you can’t put a number on style!
The Magnificent Eight Instagram group meets quarterly for a fashion style linkup; stay tuned for what’s next on January 27, 2022.
As always, thank you for stopping by; I appreciate you.
