Any Mid-lifers on Clubhouse, the new drop-in chat app?
I heard about Clubhouse back in December. I figured at some point I would check it out. However, last Friday, February 19, Forever Fierce Day, I became fully submerged in the Mid-life Matters Clubhouse conversations room.
Right now, the social networking app is only for iPhone/iPad users. You need an invitation to join this small club.
Why the exclusivity?
The software is still in the development cycle, actually the Beta phase with a limited user set.
Not just hope and humility arose from the ongoing health difficulties pandemic, perhaps the saving grace, Clubhouse. The purpose, another way for people to connect.
This online description says it best: audio rather than text, photos, or videos.
Clubhouse (deets here) features a wide variety of clubs and virtual rooms with conversations on diverse topics. Founded in April 2020, already the next best place for people to meet, talk and share ideas.
Interested in joining? I have five invites I can share. In fact, this Saturday, February 27, at 9:00 AM EDT, I’m debuting my own room, A Place for Grace, where Midlife Matters. I hope you can drop-in to listen.
As always, thank you for reading.
