Are there any Mid-lifers on Clubhouse, the new drop-in chat app?
I heard about Clubhouse in December and figured I would check it out at some point. However, last Friday, February 19, Forever Fierce Day, I became fully submerged in the Mid-life Matters Clubhouse conversation room.
Currently, the social networking app is only for iPhone/iPad users. You need an invitation to join this small club.
Why the exclusivity?
The software is still in the development cycle, actually the Beta phase with a limited user set.
Not just hope and humility arose from the ongoing health difficulties pandemic; perhaps the saving grace was the clubhouse. The purpose was another way for people to connect.
This online description says it best: audio rather than text, photos, or videos.
Clubhouse (deets here) features various clubs and virtual rooms with conversations on diverse topics. Founded in April 2020, it is already the next best place for people to meet, talk, and share ideas.
Are you interested in joining? I have five invites I can share. This Saturday, February 27, at 9:00 AM EDT, I’m debuting my room, A Place for Grace, where Midlife Matters. I hope you can drop by to listen.
As always, thank you for reading.
