Hello, Beauties🌸 Today’s post, Happy Sixth Anniversary To Age of Grace. It’s déjá vu time.
It was January 21, 2013, when I jumped on the blogging bandwagon. Here I am again, the same date in 2013 and 2019 still publishing over 300 posts later.
In the United States, the third Monday celebrates the accomplishments of the civil rights journey of MLK since 1986. At first, some states, reluctant to adopt the new holiday, but since the year 2000, all 50 celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
The birthday of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is my milestone six years ago. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. believed in the power of service to strengthen communities and achieve common goals. Have we overcome? How about being the catalyst for a change? We can all ponder our responses.
I can recall the mid-month January point being the goal to launch my blog. First, there was a mile-long checklist of pre-launch tasks to cover. Secondly, a crash course in blogging 101 from my millennial, Channing. Finally, hitting the publish button.

I would be remiss if I didn’t share a few throwbacks celebratory blog anniversary photos. Check it out. Last year, the piece de resistance on MLK Day, a small five -year Afternoon Tea celebration at Bergdorf Goodman.
Finally, I recall my first blog anniversary post title, Beat the Clock, I’m still playing that game working full-time, publishing once a week, and the best part, building a community of friends.
