Happy Blog anniversary to The Age of Grace
Hello, Beauties🌸 Today’s post, Happy Sixth Anniversary To Age of Grace. It’s déjá vu time.

Blog Anniversary

I jumped on the blogging bandwagon on January 21, 2013. I am again on the same date in 2013 and 2019, publishing over 300 posts later.

Happy Blog Anniversary

In the United States, the third Monday celebrates the accomplishments of MLK’s civil rights journey since 1986. At first, some states were reluctant to adopt the new holiday, but since 2000, all 50 states have celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The Age of Grace Sixth Anniversary
The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday was my milestone six years ago. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. believed in the power of service to strengthen communities and achieve common goals. Have we overcome? How about being the catalyst for a change? We can all ponder our responses.

I recall the mid-January launch date as the goal for my blog. First, I had to complete a mile-long checklist of pre-launch tasks. Second, I took a crash course in blogging 101 from my millennial, Channing. Finally, I hit the publish button.

Ladies lunching; Afternoon Tea at Bergdorf Goodman; Millennials and Boomers
Afternoon Tea at Bergdorf Goodman. My guests were Brenda, my daughter Channing, Serena, one of Channing’s BFFs, and Cynthia, my bestie.

I would be remiss if I didn’t share a few throwback celebratory blog anniversary photos. Check it out. Last year, the piece de resistance was on MLK Day, a small five-year Afternoon Tea celebration at Bergdorf Goodman.

Finally, I recall my first blog anniversary post title, Beat the Clock; I’m still playing that game, working full-time, publishing once a week, and, the best part, building a community of friends.

Thank you for sharing my journey. Have a fabulous week.
