5 Things I Know This April 1
1. Spring has sprung! I see the trees sprouting leaves, flowers blooming, and grass beginning to grow. These seasonal changes make for excellent discussions for me with medical professionals to discuss how their patients could benefit from switching up their medications.
2. In less than 27 days, I am so excited that I will embark upon my first-ever Women’s Half-Marathon for 13.1 miles, which I plan to walk in Washington, D.C. I am thrilled about my challenge to train and raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Team In Training Program I am participating in to train for the 13.1 miles has, after 25 years, had 570,000 participants and raised $1.3 billion. As the Nike tagline says, I will “just do it” on Sunday, April 28th.
