What does it take for people to have model behavior everyday in all that we do?  Why is it necessary to remind people to be kind and thoughtful to one another?  Here at the Age of Grace, focus is on many of the celebrated months, days or weeks designated for health awareness especially as it relates to ‘women of a certain age.’

Back in February for one week, some people celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Week, asking people to step out of their normal routine or comfort zone and attempt a new random act of kindness each day during that celebratory week.  I missed it, though, I would like to think one would like to exhibit model behavior on a daily basis and not have to be reminded.

ModelBehaviorWas anyone a Brownie or Girl Scout when they were a little girl? Except for the annual Girl Scout Cooke drive, I don’t recall hearing much about this wonderful organization that helps to empower young ladies. The Girl Scouts celebrated 100 years in 2012.  50 million girls have worn the Girl Scout uniform in the past 100 years.  This organization truly embraced respect, kindness, dignity.  I was among those millions of  girls who have worn the Girl Scout uniform.  I still remember The Girl Scout Pledge:
