The Mansion at Noble Lane, The Supremely Qualified Self-Care Resort Experience

Last weekend, my daughter, Channing, and I celebrated her birthday in the Pocono Mountains at the premier Akwaaba inn. I first learned of Akwaaba when I won a trip to their Brooklyn location in November 2019 from the AARP Sisters essay contest. We specifically chose The Mansion at Noble Lane for the supremely qualified resort experience.

Before I elaborate on the birthday celebration, I must provide details about the mansion, the former F.W. Woolworth country estate located on 22-acres in the lake region of Northeast Pennsylvania. Some of you remember Woolworth’s, the five-and-dime store before the Family Dollar and Dollar Tree Stores took over as the place to pick up inexpensive goodies. (more…)
