We all know the 2020 coronavirus public health pandemic derailed many social gatherings. That pause restricted planning a soiree we’ve attended for 30 years, so no dinner dances in 2020 – 2022—nevertheless, our annual Memorial Day weekend black tie event in Hershey is back.

I think we all consider Memorial Day to be the unofficial start to summer. While most people are anxious for the long weekend to get together with friends or family — perhaps, even traveling to beach destinations — I always look forward to my annual Club Twenty-One Soirée.
