We all know the 2020 coronavirus public health pandemic derailed many social gatherings. That pause restricted planning a soiree we’ve attended for 30 years, so no dinner dances in 2020 – 2022—nevertheless, our annual Memorial Day weekend black tie event in Hershey is back.

We all consider Memorial Day to be the unofficial start to summer. While most people are anxious for the long weekend to get together with friends or family — perhaps even traveling to beach destinations — I always look forward to my annual Club Twenty-One Soirée.
