Last Evening Was Truly Unforgettable at the 2024 Club 21 annual Dinner dance

“But by the grace of God, I am… what I am…”

Hi there! My name is Eugenia, and I am the author of the Age of Grace, a blog about aging gracefully. I live in Pennslyvania, have 26 years in the pharmaceutical industry, and have been married for 39 years. I love fashion, black-and-white movies, and museums — all of which have made it onto the blog at some point or another!

Thank you for visiting The Age of Grace. On this website, I write about the following topics:

  • Anti-aging routines and tips
  • Fitness and exercise
  • Health awareness as it pertains to women’s health (like warding off diseases that plague us as we age)
  • Fashion for the 50 and now over 60

1.  What is the Age of Grace?

The Age of Grace is a lifestyle blog about aging gracefully.  t is not just about myself but also about other ageless beauties at midlife who are vibrant, healthy, and luminous in their health and style. Do weekly posts on health awareness, features on style mavens, and opportunities to connect with other fashionistas via meetups for fun shopping events.

2.  What has surprised you most about being a woman over 50?

Seasoned women rarely have a voice and aren’t always represented in fashion and many other industries. I started the Age of Grace in 2013, intending to have my say as a fifty-something empty nester. If you look at fashion ads, catalogs, or online shops, the images don’t represent the average woman. Social media platforms provide an excellent venue to showcase our beauty and fashion.

3.  What does it mean to be FIERCE?

No matter what others say and think, I’m relevant in every aspect of life. I don’t have an expiration date because I’m over 50.

4.  What is your greatest strength and why?

Many people agree that my organizational skills are my greatest strength.  After reading the Strengths Finder 2.0, the book revealed my greatest strengths: Discipline, Responsibility, Belief, Maximizer, and Connectedness.  , however, relate most to Connectedness.  After twenty years in the pharmaceutical industry, the easiest way for me to build relationships with medical providers is by celebrating their birthdays.  Most everyone wants someone to remember their special day.

I continue to engage and connect, celebrating birthdays wherever I go. I am a bridge builder for people of all cultures and ages. It’s my way of giving back and helping people connect and feel like they belong. Being connected is a small way to recognize and relate to everyone.

5. If your life story were made into a movie, which celebrity would you choose to play you?

Angela Bassett is a captivating, gifted, and sensational award-winning actress. The age-defying beauty turns 60 on August 16.
