Baltimore Museum of Art featuring the Best of Bridgerton Candlelight Concerts

Last week, it was my stargazers. This week, where are my Bridgerton fans? Bridgerton Season Four is developing, focusing on a new romance between Benedict and Sophie. I am among the fans eagerly waiting for the return of this steamy period drama. In the meantime, the Baltimore Museum of Art hosted a Candlelight Concert featuring the Best of Bridgerton on Strings. I had to attend.

Location: The Study at John Hopkins
The Bridgerton series’ timeline is the Regency period (1813 – 1827), a time of refinement and culture. Season Two introduced me to intrigue. King George III and Queen Charlotte, as actual members of the British royal family, the king’s mental health, and the fifteen children produced by their union.

Over 60 Style

One aspect I particularly like about Bridgerton is the diversity in casting. Also, the original hair designs showcase the Emmy Award-winning creativity. While the historical accuracy of the events and characters may not be perfect, the series offers an enjoyable fantasy escape.

Wearing All-Black to an Evening Concert
The Bridgerton music composer, Kris Bowers, won an Emmy for the first season of Bridgerton from his original orchestra score. But most of us recognize the reminaged familiar tunes intermingled during the Queen’s Balls and different scenes:
🎶  Material Girl by Madonna
💎  Diamonds by Rihanna
😰  Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus
❤️  How Deep Is Your Love by Calvin Harris & Disciples

It is no wonder that Bridgerton fans like myself love this music, with its mix of classical interwoven with reimagined contemporary pop tunes.

Listeo String Quartet at the Baltimore Museum of Art Candlelight Concert featuring the Best of Bridgerton

Once again, I’m loving the all-female string quartet at the Candlelight Concert, which features the Best of Bridgerton. Last year, I experienced my first Candlelight Concert in Harrisburg, which featured a female-led chamber performance of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. At Christmas time, I saw The Nutcracker in Lancaster.

Listeso String Quartet
String quartets offer an intimate and balanced sound from four instruments, usually two violins, a viola, and a cello. One can see and feel an emotional attachment to the notes all tied back to the romantic memories of Bridgerton, whether it’s season one, two, or three.

Flowers and Illumination at the Baltimore Museum of Art Candlelight Concert featuring the Best of Bridgerton

The Meyerhood Auditorium in the Baltimore Museum of Art is an excellent venue to experience any concert. Part of the enjoyment of the Candlelight Concert is the chosen venue, usually an aesthetically appealing space—the ever-present signature Candlelight Concert’s massive candle illumination and the addition of flowers and greenery.

A few things to know about Candlelight Concerts:
♠  They start and end on time
♣  One hour is one hour – hard stop
♥  If you’re late, no admission once the concert starts
♦  Tickets obtained via the Fever App or Candlelight Concerts
◊  Tickets are transferrable

Overall, it was another delightful Candlelight Concert at a beautiful venue. We had excellent accommodations at The Study at Johns Hopkins and a great dinner at Gertrudes’s inside the Baltimore Museum of Art.

If you are a Bridgerton fan, you must locate a Candlelight Concert featuring the Best of Bridgerton on Strings.
