Chico's Comfort Waist Straight Leg Pant
And the hits keep on coming from retailer Chico’s in 2018.  First, the brand was ‘How Bold Are You’ with a campaign in March. Then Chico’s refreshed its offering with new products and silhouettes to shop for spring. Now, Chico’s is introducing its new secret weapon: the comfort waist collection.

I was ecstatic to pick something out from the new collection to share with you all on my blog, but before I sent my selection to Chico’s, I went to my local store to try on pieces. That way, I could get a feel for everything before formally telling Chico what I wanted to review. I find that because I’m curvier on the bottom, pants are super challenging to shop for as they will need to fit my tiny waist and have ample room for my butt.

I value how eager the women at the store were to help me find what I wanted. Finally, after trying several pairs, I landed on the Comfort Waist Straight Leg pants in alabaster/white.  I chose the Black Label silk button-down dress over the straight-leg jeans (with the option later to wear as a dress).

Chico's Comfort Waist Pants; Chico's Black Label Silk Geometric Dress

I appreciate that the Comfort Waist Straight Leg Pant uses a new vanity sizing method. I am wearing a 1.5, which sounds so much better than hearing size 10 or 12. They fit with just enough stretch to fit my waist. I think the hidden elastic band helps. It’s funny because I didn’t think I could wear a straight-leg cut, and yet, here I am—probably because of the faux pockets, which added a fun detail without the bulkiness of an actual pocket.

The pants retail for $89 and are available in navy, tan, alabaster, and black. You can machine wash them because they are a cotton, rayon, and spandex mix, making them even more comfortable to wear all summer.

The Black Label silk button-down dress also uses the exact vanity sizing. I am wearing size 1. Again, I will wear this as a dress and a top over pants because of its luxurious feel. It has excellent draping, and the geometric print is classic, too. This dress retails for $189, and you must dry clean it. But I think it’s more than worth it, as you can quickly push the sleeves up for a chic look and unbutton the bottom of the dress for a look that works for date night or lunch with the ladies and beyond.

Finally, I’m wearing Chico’s Neutral Noveau Sunglasses, which retail for $29.50. I love the vintage vibe and took my look to a new level.

I want to thank Chico’s for the opportunity to help my readers learn more about your brand and the comfort waist collection.

Have you tried Chico’s Comfort Waist collection?  There are shorts and capri pants, although I haven’t tried those. If you have, let me know in the comments below. And even if you haven’t,  you should give them the Chico’s Comfort Waist collection a whirl for chic summer style.

Thank you for reading, and have a fabulous week!
