Stress affects the entire body and can cause many other problems, such as
Headaches
Heart disease
Alzheimer’s disease
Diabetes
Depression/Anxiety
Gastrointestinal Problems
Accelerated Aging
Obesity/ High Cortisol (stress hormone) levels contribute to abdominal fat
Premature Death
Though not exhaustive, the stress list above affects the body’s physical/physiological, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive aspects. It’s essential to be consistent with exercise and find outlets to relax as often as possible.
