How about the Pantone Institute adopting illuminating yellow as one of the colors for 2021? Perhaps the committee knew everyone needed a subtle sunny perspective after a year of lockdowns, wearing masks, and social distancing.
Yellow is a happy, cheerful, and energetic color. I was a child the last time I had a yellow raincoat, which was probably a rain slicker.
Even before winter ends, I’m always ready to remove heavy coats, scarves, and gloves. This year, I added a classic oversized khaki trench to my closet, along with this fun-colored Ann Taylor Twill trench coat. Both trench options are great for the ever-changing spring temperatures.
