The end of one year and the beginning of the next is prime time for reflection. I bet we all agree on the life-changing events that 2020, finally in the rearview mirror.
I like the quote, “There’s a reason the windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror. Where you’re going is much better than where you’ve been”. My glass-half-full attitude says any new year, season, or time opens up the door for opportunities.
The start of 2021 doesn’t erase COVID-19. We all learned to adapt or pivot with the health pandemic. I know I feel caught in the crossroads of the soon-to-be many options for the Coronavirus vaccine.
I never jump on any new vaccine or drug right away. I prefer to wait and see if any additional adverse events surface that were not observed in the clinical trials. In the meantime, I plan to continue adhering to public health measures.
I must admit that during the Age of Corona, I indulged in Netflix binging. The downside of nonstop streaming is that there is not much hula hooping. During regular network programming, the commercials allow time to hula hoop, an easy way to satisfy my daily health goal of 30 minutes of exercise.
I usually create a vision board during the first weeks of January, but I haven’tย started one yet.
It’s fun to look back at Instagram’s Top Nine snaps for the year. However, this year, to retrieve your little montage, you must jump through a few hoops by downloading an App or paying to customize the view.
No surprises here; I see the support of my Mom’s death, my 65th birthday, breast cancer health awareness, and style over 60.
My visions and goals for 2021 include staying connected with my family and friends through FaceTime or Zoom and getting back on track with 30 minutes of daily movement.
Thank you for your love and encouragement for The Age of Grace.
