A year like no other, the unparalleled Coronavirus impact since March of this year. Definitely a year for recalibrations; who needs a new mindset for 2021?

Who Needs A New Mindset for 2021?

I know globally we all agree, 2020 an unprecedented year with COVID-19. Our time, the recalibrations, how some of us socially gather, travel, dine out, and our health appointments/fitness routines.

2020,a year like no other

My thought back in March as COVID-19 unfolded when Pennsylvania issued a stay-at-home order that would last a few weeks, not months. I’m thankful for the NYC trip back in February before we fully understood the novel virus’s impact.

My Mom, Bessie Louise
My Mom

September, a bittersweet month to celebrate my milestone birthday, notification of inclusion in a Who What Wear beauty feature. And my beautiful mom, Bessie, departed this life.

Who can forget the tremendous “Get Out to Vote” campaigns and the high stakes presidential election during the fall?

Spa Visit at The Hotel Hershey, my self-maintenance mindset
Cheers to 2021 with a new mindset of self-maintenance.

My mindset moto for 2021:
You owe yourself one hour a day of self-maintenance.
It can include reading, writing, massages, exercise, dancing, facials, painting, or whatever,
but you/I owe it to yourself/me.
One hour, 1/24, of your day.
That’s less than 5%.
It matters; it really does.
Make it count in 2021.

The pairing of black and white is one of the hallmarks of Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel’s signature style. Perhaps it was the influence of the Catholic nuns […]
