Can you believe it’s already September? Any new season, mostly Autumn, is a perfect time to ask yourself, Are You Falling Into Well-being?
COVID-19 is still waxing and waving in Central Pennsylvania. This week, the PA Department of Health reported 1,000 new instances and 18 more deaths. The latest report raises the statewide total of COVID-19 cases to 138,625 since the pandemic began in March.
Has the COVID-19 pandemic derailed your exercise routine? Or are you intentional about getting away from the computer?
I know I’ve spent too much time sitting on Zoom calls, except for gardening; I’ve not been as active as possible through this pandemic. My underlying medical condition, hypertension, keeps me at risk of COVID-19 complications if I contract the virus.
As we head into Fall, the crisp temperatures and the changing vibrant leaf colors provide the perfect backdrop for brisk walks crunching acorns. Why do I like to crunch acorns? It’s a childhood memory from all those walks to Catholic school.
Besides gardening, my COVID-19 way to relax is streaming the many Netflix series I heard about but never had time to watch. The only thing about nonstop binge-watching is that there are no television commercials.
My daily exercise routine is my weighted hula hoop during those two to three-minute TV commercials. So, for this Fall, my well-being includes dusting off my weighted hula hoop,
I am thankful I haven’t gained weight since this health crisis started earlier this year, but I’m not too fond of the way I look in my clothes. What about you? Have you stayed with your exercise routine during COVID-19?
