If Disney's Iconic Mascot Mickey Mouse Is Perfect for Gucci, He's Fabulous As My Unlikely Fashion Accessory
By now, you know I love the challenge of blogger collaborations. The agreed-upon theme always takes me out of my comfort zone and makes me rethink fashion as I see it. I also discover more like-minded midlife bloggers. My title for the group post is: If Disney’s Iconic Mascot Mickey Mouse Is Perfect for Gucci, He’s Fabulous as My Unlikely Fashion Accessory.

Frankie Shop PVC Pearl Jacket From Net-A-Porter and Mickey Mouse

I chose the questionable fashion item. Why? 2020 is the Chinese Year of the Rat. Instead of the rat, I selected another rodent: the iconic Disney Mickey Mouse, just like Gucci’s Alessandro Michele. Remember last year when the designer featured the Disney mascot as headbags to celebrate the animated character’s 90th birthday?

Big Chop Hair - The Charlie and Mickey Mouse lunch box as fashion accessory

My Mickey Mouse head bag is my thirty-one-year-old son’s lunch box from elementary school, which I have kept all these years. I see the souvenir lunch box is available on eBay for upwards of $50.00. The Gucci Mickey Mouse head bag costs $4500.
