Since joining the Forever Fierce community in October 2017, it’s become a new tradition to find ways to celebrate women over the age of 50 in NYC. First, it was a fashion show sponsored by Chico’s at their Broadway store, then lunch at Fig and Olive last year. On Saturday, my best friend and I ventured into Manhattan to connect with like-minded beauties. Read on to get the deets on the Fierce Con NYC Brunch.
For the past two years, the West Coast, where Forever Fierce CEO Catherine Grace O’Connell is based, has hosted Fierce Con LA. As the motto says, it’s not a conference; it’s a connection. The sisterhood attending the Los Angeles event spend the weekend bringing out the best of women at Midlife & Beyond. Register here for Fierce Con LA on the weekend of October 25.
The Big Apple contingent seeks to connect to and establish friendships over a series of meetups and events. Typically, for lunch, brunch, or dinner. Hopefully, one day, a significant sponsor will underwrite a weekend conference.
Now, the deets on the Fierce Con NYC Brunch. First of all, thanks to Phyllis Rae for securing the Manhattan location close to the train station. No Uber was needed, as most of us enjoyed the crisp autumn day walking to Pennsylvania 6 NYC.
So bestie, always ready to assist, helping to execute the plans for another fantastic meetup. A special thank you to Catherine for providing goodies for the beauties. The Saranghae Masks/Eye Cremes, Eddie Borgo, watch the MVMTX sunnies, and Forever Fierce bracelets.
Did I mention that Phyllis also worked with the restaurant for our brunch menu and unlimited drinks? A girl after my own heart.
Meet the 12 fabulous, fierce attendees:
