I must admit, I occasionally consult the Urban Dictionary for a better understanding of terminology that I hear Millennials using, most recently I looked up “say what?” The website told me that saying derives from a video game and an MTV show that aired from 1998 to 2003 with the same name.
Today’s focus, however, is slightly different. Let’s talk about hearing loss. The health and wellness tips I feature on The Age of Grace are not only for you, the readers, but for myself as well. My post, Just Do It reminded me that as an adult, I’ve never had my hearing checked.

Rub your thumb and index finger together a few inches from your ear. If you can hear a scratching sound, your hearing is probably intact. If not, you may be experiencing hearing loss.
Our hearing is vital and needs to be protected. If your frequent responses are “What?” or “Huh?” or even “Say What?” Consult a doctor or audiologist for further evaluation.
