How To Make A Christmas Topiary With Dollar Store Ornaments
“The weather outside is frightful,” but inside my home, it’s delightful.
By now, most people have started or finished decorating their homes for Christmas. I have a few DIY decorations that I would like to share with you during this holiday season, beginning with one DIY that I learned on Pinterest. A pinboard-style photo-sharing website that allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections such as events, interests, and hobbies (pin with me here!). Think of it as a virtual bulletin board. Why couldn’t I have thought of this?
Every change of season, I get the decorating bug to change or add something new and different to my home, especially my fireplace mantle. Why not do it myself? It’s inspiring, cheap, and gives me an opportunity to learn a new skill set. Today, my focus is on making a Christmas Ornament Topiary. All items were purchased from Dollar Tree except the urn.
Materials Used:
Container
Knitting needles (1 pr of 2.75 mm)
Floral Foam/Oasis ( 1 piece to fit inside the container to anchor needle)
Small Plastic Ornaments (6-8 depending on size)
Topper (1)
Craft Time: 15 minutes or less
