Happy Two Year Blogaversary4
For the last two years, the federal holiday of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday reminds me of my momentous occasion when I launched my blog, The Age of Grace.  Like Dr. Martin Luther King’s famous speech, “I Have A Dream,” too.  However, my dream is to inspire, connect and remind women over the age of fifty that we can age gracefully.  Happy Two Year Blogaversary toThe Age of Grace for continuing on that mission.

Happy Two Year Blogaversary2

I was inspired by my daughter and many others blogging their story. I didn’t want to miss out by not voicing my concerns, thoughts and opinions. We all have an account that needs to be told whether it be success or failure.  I believe we all have a sphere of influence with our family, friends and social media that we need to impact.

Blogging has been not a journey but a marathon over the past two years.  Just recently, I’ve sprinted into many bloggers dream of been noticed with brand collaborations. No letters written, no major campaigns, just consistent once a week blogging. And of course, my blog’s name being included with the over 40 – 50 blogger lists. My pièce de résistance, being featured on Fabulous After 40 blog, and The GIT Girl online Mag, such an honor.

A look back at the different areas I focused on during 2014, health awareness remains my passion. No surprise here since I have been in the pharmaceutical industry for nearly 20 years.

Health Awareness:  Health Risks, Women and Heart Disease, Incontinence, Bowel Movements, Allergies, Omega-3, Alzheimer’s Disease, Suicide Awareness, Breast Cancer, Domestic Violence, Lung Health, COPD/Great American SmokeOut.

Fitness: Fitbit, Exercise/Movement, Drop 5 Pounds, Sacred Heart Soup

Beauty:  Dry Skin Brushing, Face Mapping, Hydra Facial, Ashy Skin, SPF Protection

Collaborations:  Lover.ly, eShakti, Covered Perfectly, Lucky Magazine Smile Contest

Women of Grace:  Cynthia of 2ChicDesigns and Leslie, FabuLeslie

On The Road Again: Philly Flower Show, Tea at the Plaza,  PSU, Charles James Met exhibit, Andy Warhol Museum, Napa Valley, Christmas in NYC

I know you know by now but just a reminder, The Age of Grace started as a dream that commenced two years ago this week. I keep on track with annual goal setting and determination using my vision boards (and much prayer and belief).

I may not have accomplished what Dr MartinLuther King did but each and ever person has opportunities every day to be better, do better and accomplish dreams in your circles that include family, friends and the social media networks.

Are you keeping your dreams alive? Are you fulfilling your dreams?

So Happy Two Year Blogaversary to The Age of Grace!  Thank you for taking the time to read The Age of Grace, I do appreciate you.
